  1. Psalms 139:1 {To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.} O
  2. LORD, thou hast searched me, and known [me].
  3.  
  4. Psalms 139:2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising,
  5. thou understandest my thought afar off.
  6.  
  7. Psalms 139:3 Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and
  8. art acquainted [with] all my ways.
  9.  
  10. Psalms 139:4 For [there is] not a word in my tongue, [but],
  11. lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.
  12.  
  13. Psalms 139:5 Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid
  14. thine hand upon me.
  15.  
  16. Psalms 139:6 [Such] knowledge [is] too wonderful for me; it
  17. is high, I cannot [attain] unto it.
  18.  
  19. Psalms 139:7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither
  20. shall I flee from thy presence?
  21.  
  22. Psalms 139:8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou [art] there:
  23. if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou [art there].
  24.  
  25. Psalms 139:9 [If] I take the wings of the morning, [and]
  26. dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
  27.  
  28. Psalms 139:10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy
  29. right hand shall hold me.
  30.  
  31. Psalms 139:11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me;
  32. even the night shall be light about me.
  33.  
  34. Psalms 139:12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but
  35. the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light
  36. [are] both alike [to thee].

  38. Psalms 139:13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast
  39. covered me in my mother's womb.
  40.  
  41. Psalms 139:14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully [and]
  42. wonderfully made: marvellous [are] thy works; and [that] my
  43. soul knoweth right well.
  44.  
  45. Psalms 139:15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I
  46. was made in secret, [and] curiously wrought in the lowest
  47. parts of the earth.

  49. Psalms 139:16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being
  50. unperfect; and in thy book all [my members] were written,
  51. [which] in continuance were fashioned, when [as yet there
  52. was] none of them.

  54. Psalms 139:17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O
  55. God! how great is the sum of them!
  56.  
  57. Psalms 139:18 [If] I should count them, they are more in
  58. number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
  59.  
  60. Psalms 139:19 Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God:
  61. depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.
  62.  
  63. Psalms 139:20 For they speak against thee wickedly, [and]
  64. thine enemies take [thy name] in vain.
  65.  
  66. Psalms 139:21 Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee?
  67. and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
  68.  
  69. Psalms 139:22 I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them
  70. mine enemies.
  71.  
  72. Psalms 139:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me,
  73. and know my thoughts:
  74.  
  75. Psalms 139:24 And see if [there be any] wicked way in me,
  76. and lead me in the way everlasting.
